It is with a very heavy heart that I inform all of our students, clients, and
friends that our beloved Angel has passed away after a valiant battle
with Colic.  She was a wonderful teacher and companion, and she
brightened up the barn with her loving personality.  She was always
protective of her littlest riders, and challenged the older, more
experienced ones with gentle tests of their skills.  But she would never
hurt a fly, and she never fussed about anything.  She was a truly gentle
and perfect Angel, and we will never forget the joy she brought to our
barn.

Friends of Angel are welcome to send their thoughts and pictures to us
and we will post them here on her memorial page for all to share in her
memory.

After experiencing this devastating loss, I wanted to find some way of
creating a truly meaningful remembrance for Angel, and so I decided to
establish a fund in her name to support the cost of major medical
procedures that may be required to potentially save the lives, or
livelihood, of our beloved lesson horses when they are threatened by
severe illness or injury.  The fund is called the "Touched by an Angel
Fund", and all proceeds will go directly to pay for the medical expenses
of Serenity Cove Lesson Horses in the event that they are afflicted by
severe illness or injury.  Any contribution amount is greatly appreciated,
and the horses thank you for your generosity!

Payments can be made via Pay Pal by pressing the "Make a Donation"
button, or by check made payable to Serenity Cove Stables and mailed
to us at 42106 Swan's Ct. Leonardtown, MD 20650.  Please indicate on
the memo line that the payment is for the "Touched by an Angel Fund".

Here are some pictures sent in by
those that loved Angel and learned so
much from her.  She meant the world
to so many little riders, and we thank
each and every one of them for loving
Angel and making her feel like part of
their own family.

Whether she was taking novice
competitors around a course or
patiently teaching a lesson, she never
failed to please us all.

Thank you Angel!
